Day 20 of 21 day fast!

Day 20 of 21 day fast!

It’s day 20. I pray you have been changed during this fast. Finish strong this weekend!

Today, I’m sharing with you a blog from Pastor Sam Powell one of the pastors on our team! I think you will find it very encouraging.

It’s all in how you LOOK at it.

Can this be the best year of your life? Your life is primed for something great. But it’s all in how you LOOK at it.

Isaiah 6:1-8 NLT “It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!’ Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke. Then I said, ‘It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.’ Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, ‘See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.’ Then I heard the Lord asking, ‘Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?’ I said, ‘Here I am. Send me.’”

Have you had an Isaiah experience? It just might change your life.

LOOK up to God. Get lost in the majesty and greatness of the One who created the heavens and the earth. Have you been overwhelmed by His love, grace, mercy, and hope? Your view of God changes how you LOOK at everything else.

LOOK inside at yourself. See the things that are getting in the way of what God wants to do in your life. Look at how Holt Spirit can change you to be more of who God desires you to be, more of who you desire to be. Look at the strengths, passions, and gifts you have. LOOK at the person God made you to be.

LOOK around at all people you are connected to. Look at those who are hurting, lonely, empty, and lost. Let God know you are willing to be one who will do something about them. LOOK at the opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people each day.

No matter what your life may look like right now, what things have gone wrong, or what mistakes you have made – YOU are meant for great things. This year can be the best year of your life. It’s all in how you LOOK at it.

Don’t look to have an Isaiah experience. LOOK to have your own. You are writing your story everyday? How will it turn out? It’s all in how you LOOK at it.
